Is MoonBase a different launchpad than pump.fun?
No. MoonBase sends the same launch transaction you would send on pump.fun. The coin lives on pump.fun's bonding curve and graduates to pump.fun's pool like any other. MoonBase adds the room and the holder colours.
Do I need to hold the coin to chat?
No. Anyone with a connected wallet can post. Holders are shown in green with their share of supply, so it's always clear who has skin in the game. Holders can also post a bit more often than non-holders.
How do you know who holds the coin?
Your wallet signs a short message to prove it's yours; it costs nothing and moves nothing. MoonBase reads token balances from the Solana chain and updates the colours as trades happen.
What does MoonBase charge?
Nothing. No launch fee, no share of creator rewards, no trading fee on top of pump.fun's 1.25%.
Can I give my room to someone else?
Yes. In the room settings the creator can hand the room to another wallet, which then gets pin, rules and moderation rights.
Who can see my wallet?
Everyone in the room sees your wallet address shortened and, if you hold the coin, your share of supply. You can set a display name on the My coins page.
